This renewal course is designed for participants who are familiar with EKG rhythms, pharmacology, and the AHA treatment algorithms. Following a brief of the latest guidelines participants will break into small groups to demonstrate proficiency in managing both perfusion and arrested patients. Adult BLS CPR, AED, and airway skills must also be evaluated.

You are not eligible to take this course if any of the following apply:

 	
Your card does not say “Healthcare Provider” on it.
 	
Your card has expired or will expire before the class.
 	
Your card is not issued by the American Heart Association, but by Red Cross, National Safety Council, or some other organization.

* Students must provide proof of successful completion of the AHA required, online ACLS pre-test.

* All students are required by the AHA to bring a current ACLS and BLS textbook to class.
